I’m writing this letter to thank every company in America for refusing to print SATANICA because of its depiction of opposing views on sex, religion and overall lifestyle, for perpetuating the Puritan American stereotype, for reminding us why we decided to publish SATANICA in the first place.
Gio Black Peter and I would also like to say thanks to the buyers of our publication. You’re in for a real uncensored treat. After literally weeks of searching and countless late nights stressing over businesses turning up their noses at us and backing out at the last minute, we’ve finally found a company that will print SATANICA for us. But they say they have to do it after hours because of the content. We’re nearing sold-out status so get your copy soon!
In light of our recent struggles, we’ve decided to move our launch celebration to Pyramid Club, a legendary venue from the late ’70s/early ’80s where such a wide range of alternative talent have performed and partied, from Nirvana to John Sex, a place that reminds us anything used to go in New Fuck New York. After the launch, stick around for The Last Unicorn, a party that celebrates the true diversity left in New York City.
SATANICA will be shipped on 12/26. For those of you who bought the magazine and are going to the release party from 8-11 p.m. on 12/28, shoot us an email at satanicanyc@gmail if you’d like us to give you your copy in person.
Have a great holiday!
